Bone glue is made from the bones of cattle, pigs and other animals through crushing, hydrolysis, filtration, drying and other processes. It is light yellow to yellow-brown, translucent and slightly shiny spherical particles, odorless and has no visible impurities. , also called beaded bone glue because of its bead-like appearance.

Application

 

Xanthan gum is used for filtration control in all types of water base drilling fluids ranging from fresh to salt saturated waters. It also has shale inhibitive characteristics. It meets or exceeds API 13A specifications. Its thermal stability is up to 150ºC. 

 

Used as thickener and suspending agent in drilling fluids, fracturing and oil-displacing agent. It has obvious effects on speeding up drilling, preventing well collapse, protecting oil and gas reservoirs, substantially increasing oil recovery rates, and preventing well blowouts, etc.

 Oil Drilling Grade Xanthan Gum is high efficiency and environmentally friendly mud additives. As an important drilling polymer, oil drilling grade xanthan gum is widely used in oilfield service industries including fracturing, pipeline cleaning, work-over and completion operation etc.
