Zinc oxide is white powder, with good hiding power and tinting power, widely used in printing & dyeing, rubber, coating, ceramics, feeds, cosmetics, pharmacy,ink, cable, electronics, phosphor, catalysts,phosphating solution.

Production Process:
direct zinc oxide

1 direct method 1. Obtained from calcining zinc carbonate. ZnCO3=ZnO+CO2↑
2. Obtained from the calcined decomposition of zinc hydroxide.
3. Zinc is smelted from crude zinc oxide and then oxidized by high-temperature air.
4. Obtained from the oxidation of molten zinc.
5. There are three methods used: the indirect method using zinc ingots as raw materials (also called the French method), the direct method using zinc ores as raw materials (also called the American method) and the wet method.

indirect method:
Reaction equation: 2Zn+O2=2ZnO
Operation method: After heating the zinc ingot produced by electrolysis to 600-700°C to melt, place it in a high-temperature-resistant crucible, melt and gasify it at a high temperature of 1250-1300°C, introduce hot air for oxidation, and the generated zinc oxide is cooled. , cyclone separation, and the fine particles are collected in cloth bags to obtain the finished zinc oxide product.

CO2+C=2CO
ZnO+CO=Zn(steam)+CO2
Zn(steam)+CO+O2=ZnO+CO2
Operation method:
Prepare roasted zinc ore powder (or zinc-containing materials), anthracite (or coke), and limestone in a ratio of 1:0.5:0.05 to form balls. After reduction smelting at 1300°C, the zinc oxide in the ore powder is reduced to zinc vapor, which is then introduced into the air for oxidation. The generated zinc oxide is captured to produce finished zinc oxide.
